Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Nosha Luv is a Chicago-based DJ whose roots are deeply planted in the classic sounds of Chicago House music. From an early age, she was immersed in music, influenced by her stepfather’s massive record collection and her grandmother’s cherished 45s. Nosha Luv’s journey into the House scene began under the mentorship of DJ Rush, who she initially knew as Isaiah. This early connection introduced her to a vibrant community of DJs, where she learned the craft, attended parties, and forged lasting friendships.

Her DJ career took shape with a show she curated alongside her then-husband, Chris Ray, called "Nice Night 4 A Jam," which they launched after returning to the scene in 2007. Nosha Luv would play a 2-hour set, showcasing her deep record collection in a selector style, while Chris would handle the rest of the show. They invited local DJs as guests, many of whom have since become international sensations.

After her split from Chris in 2010, Nosha Luv was determined to keep the show alive. She took on the challenge of learning how to DJ, which led to the unique style she brings to the scene today. Her sets are known for their “grooves that make you move,” and she continues to curate musical vibes at venues all around Chicago.

Nosha Luv also continues to host the long-standing monthly broadcast "Nice Night 4 A Jam," where she showcases her impeccable taste and DJing talents. Recently, she has expanded her reach internationally, performing in Brazil, Spain, the UK, and beyond.

Nosha Luv is breaking barriers and pushing boundaries, delivering some of the finest dance music. Her sets seamlessly blend Disco, Boogie, Soul, and Funk, crossing tracks and genres to rock and inspire your soul.
